CMYK Collection, 2025

An exploration of the CMYK color palette through abstract shapes and color interaction.

The CMYK collection dives into the world of color, using the primary colors cyan, magenta, and yellow as its foundation. This collection features five distinct designs, each with four variations: two wooden versions and two paper versions, set against black and white backgrounds. This results in a total of 20 unique pieces, each offering a distinct take on color interaction.

The designs combine geometric shapes—such as zigzags, circles, squares, and triangles—with more free-flowing organic forms, creating a dynamic contrast between structure and fluidity. The overlapping of cyan, yellow, and magenta results in secondary colors—red, purple, and green—while their combined overlap creates black. This interplay between primary and secondary colors highlights the transformative power of color theory in a bold and visually engaging way.

With roots in graphic design and color study, the CMYK collection is an exploration of how color theory can translate into abstract, tangible artwork.
