Self Portrait, 2024

"Self Portrait, Year Two: Still Becoming" is a wooden cut-out design created during my second year as an artist. This piece is an homage to the journey I've taken, incorporating elements from many of the works I've created in that time. The flower crown from my "Dancing Queen" collection sits behind my head, and I'm wearing a mirror heart earring from my self-love collection, which features checkered hearts made from mirror and wood. My shirt is adorned with isolated shapes pulled from various artworks, such as "Rhythm," "Aura," "Dancing Queen," and "Dreams," reflecting the diversity of my creative exploration.

While portraits are a challenge for me, this wooden cut-out style captures my likeness while staying true to my unique approach, blending personal expression with the elements that define my body of work. The design feels like a milestone in my artistic journey, representing both where I was at Year Two and how far I've come.
